Premier Oil Indonesia now has the need for an experienced QA/QC Specialist, based within its Jakarta offices,




QA / QC Specialist
(Jakarta Raya)

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in a relevant discipline
  • Mechanical Engineering; PCN/CSWIP/ASNT in welding related Inspections (Preferred)
  • Previous experience within upstream Oil and Gas, across construction/mechanical hydraulic/ pressure vessel activities
  • Experience of working within a project management team
  • Procedural writing for quality control processes, quality/inspection & test planning
  • External audit experience is highly regarded


Key responsibilities are:

  • Day to day administration of project quality requirements
  • Ensure company quality requirements are complied to
  • Liaise with contractors and subcontractors
  • Review, approval and compliance of project quality plans
  • Co-ordinate and review contractor & subcontractor quality, and quality control plans, ensure proper implementation of Plans
  • Prepare and co-ordinate project quality/administration procedures
  • Co-ordination of all Quality Control and Inspection activities
  • Resolve any related issues
  • Participate/carry out vendor Project Audits as per the Audit Schedule (in conjunction with the Quality Manager)
  • Attend external audits when required
  • Co-ordinate compilation and review of final documentation
  • Co-ordinate/assist in development of quality requirements on subcontracts and procurement packages (pre/post award)
  • Inspections at vendor sites
  • Conduct supplier audits and surveillance visits
  • Compilation of Quality content of tender submissions in collaboration with Quality Lead
  • Address of all tender quality issues whether in risk workshops, commercial responses etc.
  • Ad-hoc support to all Indonesian quality related activities, where synergies are required across the unit
