PERTAMINA’s scope of business incorporates the upstream and downstream sectors. The upstream sector covers oil, gas and geothermal energy exploration and production both domestically and overseas. The foregoing is pursued through own operations and through partnerships in the form of joint operations with JOBs (Joint Operating Bodies), TACs (Technical Assistance Contracts) and JOCs (Joint Operating Contracts), whereas the downstream sector includes processing, marketing, trading and shipping. Commodities produced range from Fuel (BBM) and Non Fuel (Non BBM), LPG, LNG, petrochemicals to Lube Base oil.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Active in promoting HSE requirements for contractors and input into the tender documents.
  • CSMS supports the implementation process, both within and outside the relationship.
  • Ensure that contractors understand and comply with HSE regulations and procedures of the Company before starting a job.
  • Coordinate all program blasting (on behalf of the Head of Mining Engineering ONWJ PHE), to support drilling activities in coordination with parties both inside and outside the Company.
  • Coordinate all agreements with contractors working to support the safety and security of its activities with the processing, monitoring and closing contracts.
  • Coordinate Security budget, including AFE, ranging from the preparation phase, monitor and report annually to support the security program.
  • Coordinate all contractor invoices and BPMIGAS to ensure timely payment is made.
  • Ensure that all licenses related to blasting activities are stored properly and is always ready when needed to coordinate with all parties concerned.
  • Ensure the continuation of contracts in the Security Department, both financially and administration.
  • Establish and maintain good relations with the users (other departments), management, government representatives (BPMIGAS, Police and Gas) and its contractors.

Requirements

  • Minimum S1 graduate with more than five years experience as a leader in the Security section. Preferably blasting handling certification.
  • Have the expertise to coordinate the administration of explosions, especially in conjunction with Police Regulation No. 2 Year 2008 on the Supervision, Control and Security of Commercial Explosives.
  • Has considerable knowledge of the oil & gas business; PTK 007 in 2009 regarding the revised contract administration and matters relating to finance, such as AFE, budgeting and others.
  • Dealing with matters relating to the handling of blasting both the contract and its implementation.
  • To coordinate matters relating to finance, such as AFE, budgets, invoices and others.
