We are a well established foreign conglomerate having business interest in Palm Oil Plantations, Breweries, Financial Services and Leisure. PT. Agro Indomas is the Groups’ plantations in Indonesia who has a land bank in excess of 60,000 hectares of plantations and mills in Kalimantan Tengah and Kalimantan Timur. Central Maintenance Workshop Manager (Mechanical Engineering)
(Kalimantan Tengah)

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and managing large scale workshops, maintaining more than 200 heavy equipment/light vehicles such as Excavators, Dump trucks, Tractors, Cars,
  • Manage and maintain machineries such as Generators, Water Pumps, etc.
  • Ensure all machineries, equipments, and vehicles of the plantations are maintained in good order and implement required policies and procedures.
  • Establishing an efficient operation of mechanical workshops within the group plantations Identify long term requirements to support the rapidly expanding plantations;

Requirements:

Personal Assistant to Plantation Manager (PA to PM)
(Kalimantan Tengah - Sampit)

Responsibilities:

  • To assist the PM Plantations in the daily office operations.
  • Organize and handle all correspondence pertaining to Plantations Manager office.
  • Filing of all PM Plantations correspondence.
  • Document to be kept secure all the time.
  • To ensure reports, returns etc are submitted by respective center as per schedule.
  • To maintain confidentiality of all correspondence/transaction pertaining to PM Plantations
  • House keeping of PM Plantations Office.
  • Handle communication system in PM Plantations office.
  • Conduct budget Preparation
  • Handling all permits required
  • Implement all relevant EHS policies, procedures and SOPs

Accounting Manager
(Jakarta Raya)

Responsibilities:

  • Study and familiarize with initial project development budget process and involve in preparation of project budgets
  • Develop project budget models to be used in different types of terrains to standardize budget preparations and easy preparation of project budgets for future projects
  • Develop standardized templates to be used in subsequent project budget monitoring process
  • Visit plantations with FC/initial evaluation team to get first-hand experience on land conditions, nature of costs involved, accuracy of the assumptions to be used (contract pricing, labour rates, transport rates, etc) identification of units etc
  • Setting up and preparation of budgets using HYPERION budget module
  • Understand PLASMA concepts and regional deviations with current model in preparation of PLASMA budgets for new projects
  • Develop templates for PLASMA budgets in HYPERION
  • To liaise with operational, legal, PLASMA and other department on forming of initial PLASMA structures
  • Assist in setting in place initial accounting system and systems and controls in newly started development projects, as per group SOP's and contribute for improving existing SOPs to suit the developing plantation conditions
  • Initial facilitation of projects including bank account opening/setting up chart of accounts as per group SOP's/identification/recruitment of finance staff (local)/arrangement of infrastructure to finance operations
  • Participate in implementing group SOP's in developing plantations
  • Anchor the project cost management during handover period to Project Finance team
  • Coordinate with Project accountants on routine activities and assist

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

  • More than 10 years experience with management accounting background, Financial Accounting and Taxation background exeperience in ERP implementation will be an added advantage,highly skilled in budgeting and making presentation, implementation of internal control.

Assistant Account
(Jakarta Raya)

Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of the initial project budgets, analysis and comparisons with other development project costs
  • Discussion of drafts with Project Accountant and finalize up to approval of the board
  • Serve as an additional resources to location finance team in stop gaps (where sudden resignation of finance staff in projects)
  • Assist in setting in place initial accounting system and systems and controls in newly started development projects, as per group SOP's
  • Visit plantations with initial evaluations team to get firsthand experience on land conditions, nature of costs involved, accuracy of the assumptions to be used
  • Assists in preparation of Project budgets and PLASMA budgets using HYPERION budget module
  • Provide initial training to the new staff to be recruited to developing projects

EHS Assistant ( to be base at Kalimantan )
(Ketapang & Sampit)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist to develop estate EHS strategy, management plan and conduct regular monitoring, field inspection and EHS performance evaluation including delivery of EHS matter awareness to employee and staff
  • Identify and update the applicable environmental and safety laws and regulation including required license and evaluate the compliance status
  • Assist in setting and carried up of EHS monitoring systems and measurement program for reporting performance/regulatory compliances at estate, review of progress and deriving action plans for improvement where necessary
  • Carry out Environment & safety induction meeting and training of estate employees related to EHS
  • Assist in developing and reviewing Environmental & Safety policy/procedure/programs in accordance to International Standards (ISO & OHSAS) and ensuring the effectiveness of its implementation, and benchmark with industry EHS best practice relating to plantation anf milling industry
  • Conduct environmental aspect impact register, hazard identification and risk assessment which cooperate with Respective estate staff
  • Adhere to all EHS issues and implementing according to EHS advise
  • Lead in the investigation of accidents or injuries/illness to develop solutions and prevent recurrence
  • Build effective relation with relevant NGOs and government officer

EHS Assistant Manager
(Kalimantan Timur - Muara Komam & Berau)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist General Manager and EHS Manager in developing, implementing and evaluating of environment, health and safety strategy, policy, standard and procedures.
  • Assist implement overall EHS strategic direction for the estate and asses its effectiveness towards meeting the corporate goals and strategies
  • Assist in prepare short term and medium to long term EHS activity plans and verify/coordinate the budgets for estate. Submit proposals and obtain necessary internal approvals for implementation
  • Identify and update the applicable environmental and safety laws and regulation including required license and evaluate the compliance status
  • Liaise with consultants and ensure timely receipt of EHS related approvals (i.e. AMDAL) for plantation projects.
  • Assist in setting and carried up of EHS monitoring systems and measurement program for reporting performance/regulatory compliances at estate, review of progress and deriving action plans for improvement where necessary

Assistant Account

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements on a fully computerized environment and the required reconciliation on a regular basis
  • Prepare operational and statutory payments
  • Carry-out Creditors and Debtors management activities

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Candidates required to be placed at plantation in remote area (Kalimantan)
  • Required skill(s): Accounting.
  • Preferred skill(s): Oracle environment.
  • Required language(s): English.

Assistant Accountant
(Kalimantan)
Responsibilities:

  • To ensure smooth financial operations at Regional office, preparation and submission of financial records by ensuing data entering is taking place on a weekly basis on receipt and the sub ledgers are posted to the General Ledger on a monthly basis. The job holder is required that all journal entries are properly approved before being entered. This includes finalizing corporate accounts on the 5th and finalizing amalgamated on the 7th of every month.
  • To function as the co-module owner of the following Oracle GL modules. This will be limited to the corporate ledger operations.
  • To handle the amalgamation process and to prepare the financial statements of the Company. Amalgamation of other future Companies will be notified as applicable.
  • To ensure that VAT is properly recorded according to the tax regulations of the company on payments executed from regional office.
  • Ensure that withholding tax is being deducted and remitted to the department according to the tax regulations.
  • To ensure that proper documents are being maintained all the time. This includes source documents, books of accounts, schedules i.e. provisions, advances, other debtors etc.
  • To ensure that the systems and controls and set procedures have been followed in carrying out duties.
  • Send interim and final debit notes to all locations by 18th, 23rd and 2nd of the following month and ensure inter location current accounts are properly reconciled. Ensure all Bank Statements and source documents are received on time.
  • Ensure all accruals, provisions and advances are properly accounted and any journal adjustments are supported by accurate supporting documents.
  • Supervision of staff, delegation of work and transfer skills to junior staff in order to get effective team work and staff capability.
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with auditors to finalize annual audit on time

  • Maintain good relationships with local community and government
  • Public awareness and education to generate supports from local stakeholders to plantation operations and development
  • Establish mutual understanding and trust with local NGOs

Responsibilities:

  • Implement of CSR and corporate communications strategy and activities
  • Preparation of informational materials both for internal and external stakeholders
  • Data and information gathering for communications and reporting by fostering close working relationship with relevant units, notably EHS, HR, etc.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing and implementing CSR framework and Corporate Communications, Policies and Strategies, and Plan
